Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the HydroFoo app and related services ("HydroFoo", "we", "our", "us"). By using HydroFoo, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

You may use HydroFoo only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms. You may not misuse, interfere with, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to HydroFoo or related systems.

2. Health and Wellness Disclaimer

HydroFoo is a hydration and wellness tracking tool and is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a licensed medical professional for medical decisions.

3. Purchases and Auto-Renewable Subscriptions (if offered)

HydroFoo may offer subscriptions or one-time purchases for premium features.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at purchase confirmation.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription where applicable.
Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple policies.

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use HydroFoo for personal, non-commercial use.

5. Intellectual Property

HydroFoo and its content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable laws.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using HydroFoo at any time.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

HydroFoo is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of HydroFoo.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how HydroFoo collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the app.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: hydration entries, goals, presets, language, and unit preferences.
Health data (optional): if you grant HealthKit permission, HydroFoo may read/write hydration data for app features.
Diagnostics: limited technical data (for example crash or performance signals) to improve reliability.

2. How We Use Information

Provide hydration tracking features and app functionality.
Sync, maintain, and improve app performance and stability.
Respond to support requests.

3. Health Data and Sensitive Data

Health data accessed through Apple Health is used only to provide health-related functionality in HydroFoo. We do not use Health data for advertising, marketing profiling, or data brokerage.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We share data only when needed to operate HydroFoo (for example service providers for infrastructure, analytics, support, or purchases), or when legally required.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide HydroFoo, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

6. Your Choices and Rights

You can manage Health permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
You can manage/cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

7. Children’s Privacy

HydroFoo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

Depending on where you use HydroFoo, your information may be processed in countries other than your own, subject to applicable data protection laws.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
